Montessori express: ask instead of correcting
A simple question that helps you stop correcting your children all the time.
❌ You didn't flush the toilet!
❌ You didn't wash your hands!
❌ You didn't turn off the light!
❌ You didn't close the door!
Imagine if someone corrected you as much as you correct your children… would you like it? Our children like to be corrected as much as we do. 😉
Instead, try this:
Your child leaves the bathroom without flushing the toilet:
✅ Did you forget something?
We give them the opportunity to learn to pay attention. They arrive at the "solution" by themselves. It feels more like a game. We don't make them feel wrong all the time.
To change education, we need to change our language.
