I think that this article written by Christina Clemer is the one that best describes the Montessori philosophy in a way that everybody—teachers and parents—can understand.

I loved it so much that I decided to translate it for all my Italian and Spanish readers, but if you’d like to read it in English here it is: 7 key phrases Montessori teachers use and why we should use them, too.
