On our second day in the South Island, we got to a farm in Fairlie. We stopped in the town in to pick up world-famous @fairliebakehouse pies for dinner, but the farm was our destination. Had we tried to fit in another little museum, the day wouldn’t have been so successful. This way, we had plenty of time to walk around the farm, round up the sheep, and feed the alpacas, and the kids could also enjoy the toys in the Airbnb.
Usually it’s not how much you do, it’s how you do it that makes a difference. Even more so when traveling with children. Ready for Day 3!
