We’ve been talking a lot with Oliver about how most of what we use in our daily life is made by somebody somewhere in the world. And what better way to understand what that really means than… actually making something with our own hands?
Inspired by the kiwi playcentres (nurseries where kids go with parents) which all have a carpentry corner with real tools for real work, we got some kindling, a hammer, an electric screw driver, nails and screws… and the kids are creating. We’re missing a saw, but it’s coming soon.
Oliver decided that his first project is a chair 🪑. The last photo is the beginning, in stories some “behind the scenes”.
