AffenZahn animal-shaped backpacks, too cute to resist!

A few weeks ago, we took a beautiful trip to Berlin and of course I came home with lots of ideas and inspiration for the blog, products, places, activities… Today I’d like to show you a cute little product we found in one of the shops in Prenzlauerberg: the AffenZahn backpacks.

Affenzahn is a brand by Fond of Bags and its products are gorgeous, animal-shaped backpacks for kids and toddlers: lions, tigers, dolphins, sheep, pandas, elephants… you name it! And they all have names! For Oliver we picked Alexander, a cute dog from the Small Friends collection.

Oh right, did I mention that the backpacks come into two different sizes? There are the Small Friends, suitable for kids 1-3 years old, very light and big enough to carry a couple nappy changes, a water bottle and a snack; and there are the Large Friends, suitable for kids 3-5 years old, about double the size.

We loooove the details that make Alexander special: you can pull out the tongue to reveal a label with the name of the owner; you can adjust the height of the chest-strap which makes the carrying very comfortable; the inside is waterproof and has a practical pocket; it has two small outside pockets on the front and a practical handle for parents to carry it when the little ones are tired. I won’t say more, you’ll have to find all the other little details yourself!

PS. This is not a sponsored post, the backpack was a gift to Oliver from nonno Geppi e nonna Maria and I simply fell in love with it. I think you will, too!
